Pricing & delivery

Investment and timing

How projects are scoped, priced and scheduled.

How much does an AL Digital website cost?

Our agreed starting points are £2,500 for Starter, £5,000 for Business and £10,000 for Enterprise. Final investment depends on pages, content, integrations, workflows and technical complexity. Compare packages.

How long does a website project take?

Starter projects are typically planned over 3–5 weeks, Business projects over 5–8 weeks and Enterprise timing is confirmed after discovery. Content readiness, feedback and third-party integrations can affect delivery.

What is included in the quotation?

Your proposal lists the agreed pages, functionality, integrations, responsibilities, timeline, testing and support. Hosting, licences, specialist content and out-of-scope development are identified separately where relevant.

Can the project be delivered in phases?

Yes. A phased approach can prioritise the most valuable customer journeys first while preserving a structure that supports future additions.

Website foundation

Hosting, domains and WordPress

Technology choices and what they mean for you.

Do you provide website hosting?

We can recommend and configure suitable hosting, but provider costs are normally paid directly by the client. The recommendation depends on traffic, functionality, support needs and data location requirements.

Can you help with a domain name?

Yes. We can help connect or configure a domain and advise on DNS. The client should own the domain account and keep its registration details current.

Why do you build with WordPress?

WordPress offers a flexible, widely supported foundation that can handle service pages, content, forms and integrations while giving clients meaningful ownership and control.

Why use Elementor?

Elementor supports responsive, visually consistent layouts that remain practical to edit. We use it selectively and keep the structure disciplined to avoid unnecessary bloat.

Business systems

Payments, bookings and CRM

Connecting the website to real operational workflows.

Can you integrate secure online payments?

Yes. We commonly plan Stripe-based payment journeys, including customer messaging and success or failure states. The client holds the payment-provider account and remains responsible for its verification, fees and terms.

Can the website take bookings or appointments?

Yes. Booking systems can support services, availability, staff, confirmation, cancellation and rescheduling depending on the selected platform and agreed workflow.

Can enquiries and bookings connect to a CRM?

Yes, where the chosen CRM provides a suitable integration or API. We define what data should move, when it should move and who needs to act on it.

What can be automated?

Common opportunities include confirmations, internal notifications, lead creation, follow-up tasks and data hand-offs. We automate only where it improves reliability without creating unnecessary complexity.

Visibility & resilience

SEO, security and maintenance

The foundations that keep a website credible and useful.

Is SEO included?

Every build includes a logical page structure, heading hierarchy, readable URLs, metadata planning, internal linking and mobile-friendly foundations. Ongoing SEO campaigns, content creation and backlink work are separate services.

How do you approach website security?

We use secure configuration, reputable software, HTTPS, appropriate access controls, updates and backups. No website can be promised absolute security, so ongoing maintenance and responsible account management remain important.

Do I need website maintenance?

Maintenance is strongly recommended for WordPress websites, particularly those processing forms, bookings or payments. Plans can include updates, backups, monitoring, performance checks and support. Explore maintenance.

Will the site be accessible?

We apply accessibility best practice to structure, contrast, keyboard use, labels, responsive layouts and informative images. Formal legal compliance or specialist auditing can be separately scoped where required.

After delivery

Ownership, support and updates

What happens when the website becomes yours.

Who owns the completed website?

Ownership and licensing are defined in the contract. Once agreed payments are complete, clients typically receive control of the website and their own provider accounts, subject to third-party software licences.

Will I be able to update the website?

Yes. Elementor layouts are designed to remain editable, and handover can include guidance for routine text and image changes.

What support is available after launch?

The agreed launch support is included in the project scope. Ongoing maintenance and priority technical support are available through separate care plans.

Can new pages or features be added later?

Yes. We can scope landing pages, service sections, booking changes, integrations and automations as the business evolves.

Can you redesign an existing website?

Yes. We begin by reviewing the current platform, content, search considerations and operational dependencies, then plan what should be retained, improved or replaced.
